A Season of Growth, Courage and Connection: Fall 2025 Program
Last week, I wrapped up the final session of my women’s leadership program, The Alignment Solution — and it came with a mix of pride, joy, and that bittersweet feeling you get when something meaningful comes to an end.
Over the past three months, this group of leaders in engineering and construction has shown up with honesty, curiosity, determination, and a willingness to stretch themselves. They have navigated tough conversations, discovered new insights about their strengths, and built connections that I know will extend far beyond our time together.
As I prepared the final session, titled “Nevertheless, She Persisted: Building Resilience,” I kept thinking about how much this group has persisted — through demanding schedules, competing priorities, heavy workloads, and the many pressures women in this industry contend with.
Resilience Through Strengths
In this last workshop, we explored how our CliftonStrengths® can act as both guardrails and fuel sources:
Helping us prevent burnout before it takes hold
Supporting us as we recover from exhaustion or overwhelm
Guiding us toward sustainable energy and purpose
Showing us the patterns that keep us grounded when work and life get difficult
It was powerful to see each woman recognize not only her unique strengths, but how those strengths show up under pressure — and how they can be developed even more intentionally moving forward.
A Reminder from Tara Sophia Mohr
We also walked through Tara Sophia Mohr’s 10 Rules for Brilliant Women, and the group resonated deeply with the final rule: “Let other women know they are brilliant.”
This line has stayed with me.
Because brilliance isn’t just about capability — it’s about being seen.
So much of women's leadership development is about creating spaces where women can be seen fully, supported generously, and encouraged boldly. This group did that for one another, session after session.
The Heart of the Program: Alignment
On our closing slide, we summarized what The Alignment Solution is really all about:
“Authenticity in leadership is where your strengths, core values, beliefs, and behaviors are all in alignment with your true, authentic self.”
This is the work that transforms leaders — not just professionally, but personally.
It’s what shifts teams, cultures, and careers.
And I watched these women lean into that alignment session after session.
Celebrating Our Brilliant Fall 2025 Cohort
I want to celebrate and honor the incredible participants who made this program what it was. Each of them showed tremendous courage, vulnerability, and leadership. Together, they set a new bar for what it means to participate in this program.
What’s Next
The Fall 2025 cohort reminded me why I created this program in the first place: Women in engineering and construction deserve a high-quality, strengths-based leadership experience that meets them where they are — and helps them grow into where they’re going.
I’m thrilled to share that the next offering of The Alignment Solution will launch in Spring 2026.
